Camo Dresser………sold

A dresser like no other! Hand-painted “camo” design, with a surprise of stars within the drawers. This vintage piece, made in the USA in the 19th century, and hand painted in Newburyport in the 21st century, has the fine structure you cannot find in contemporary pieces. Pin and cove construction dates from 1870-1890. Meticulously cleaned and sealed for a like-new interior. As with all October Cottage pieces, this dresser is one-of-a-kind.

We are humbled and grateful that this piece can help honor a fallen hero.  When Susan created it, she hoped it might go to a veteran or soldier.  In this case, he can’t be with us, but we are thankful for his service and we honor his sacrifice.
